One employee here at OB HQ has been with Jemma and Lesa from the very beginning. Designer Jane started out as a Social Media Assistant, creating imagery and engaging content for our followers.
Since then, Jane has also designed a bucket full of watches for the brand and is now Head Designer, so we caught up with her to find out a little bit more about her time here and her plans for the rest of 2015!
What do you enjoy
most about working at OB?
I love being able to designing watches that you get
to see everywhere. From shopping in Selfridges, to seeing people on the tube
with them on, to stalking the #oliviaburton on Instagram, it is such a great feeling seeing people adorning something that you have designed - I feel very proud of what I have achieved since starting here!
It has to be when my first design became a best
seller!! (EEK) The Woodland Wing sold out almost immediately, I could not believe, its still one of our best performing watches to date and will hopefully stay with us for a while - it will definitely be staying on my wrist forever!
I NEED to visit The Crown in Brentwood especially for their cocktails, I've heard amazing things about them from my friends.
I also really want to go to Quaglinos in Mayfair, I've seen lots of good things about them on social media - its a must visit!
I've just purchased my new car, broom
broom. It was a very tough decision but I decided to go for a cute little grey mini - I'M IN LOVE! Now I just need to buy a new handbag that matches my car, I'm leaning towards a Mulberry, but again, another tough decision. I also need to buy a new coat, but I haven’t
found anything fabulous yet, (although I normally end up having lots of coats over the Autumn Winter seasons) - they are definitely my downfall, who can resist a good coat?! I've just treated myself to Easilocks so this month has been pretty expensive, so maybe my Mulberry will have to be a Christmas present (Dad if you're reading this, hint hint)!
